Wow! Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It seems like a typical roadside hotel, but upon check in, we were given a basket with local cookies and milk. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. But the bed truly blew me away! It was the most comfortable bed and duvet that I had in my entire time in NZ. It felt very luxurious and allowed for some very quality sleep.

Didn’t get to make use of any of the amenities at the hotel, but I could see how they would be a draw for families.

The room was very nice, luxurious spa bath, very comfortable bed and kitchen area well equipped. Great facilities – lovely pool, mini putt and children’s play area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. The only negative was the spouting outside our room overflowing during the night with the heavy rain was noisy.

Accommodation was on the first floor right in the corner but didn’t matter too much. All facilities were good, only lacking a spatula for frying the eggs , but had a non stick pan!! Didn’t have time to make use of the jacuzzi bath sadly. The shower was powerful and hot . Beds comfortable and slept well. Recommend the swimming pool, heated was amazing. My brother and I had a sauna which was lovely. Quite a lot to do on site, crazy golf . Receptionist very helpful. Only downside was , you had to drive everywhere as a little way out of the centre of activity. Would go there again though.
